Ahh… the Hamptons, home of quaint cedar-shingled mansions, gorgeous scenery and Billy Joelcar wrecks. Over the weekend, however, the Hamptons became home to a Hurricane Katrina benefit hosted by none other than Brangelina.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Joliehave no time for the LIE. Rather than sitting in Manhatten to Hamptons traffic (about a 2-hour commute), Brangelina opted for the helicopter option. The benefit, for Pitt’s “Make it Right” project, supported rebuilding New Orleans with environmentally-friendly homes, and was attended by Christie Brinkley, Ellen Barkinand Jimmy Buffet. If only helicopters were environmentally friendly. D’oh!
