Angelina Jolie versus Brad Pitt's Parents

Will Angelina Jolie ever make friends with Brad Pitt’s parents?   Many observers can’t quite understand why Jolie won’t even make up with her own father and certainly can’t understand her reluctance to allow her kids to spend more time with a stable family in Missouri like the Pitts.  Certainly it may have something to do with the fact that Jane Pitt still is a BFF to her former daughter in law Jennifer Aniston, but that seems pretty juvenile to hold a grudge for that.But a recent trip may have softened Jolie’s heart. Life & Style Weekly reports that even though Brad didn’t make it home to Springfield, Mo., for the holidays, his post new year trip to the state with Jolie was a big hit.The visit that Brad, Angelina and their four kids made Jane and William Pitt happy says an insider.  And despite a reported long-simmering tension between Angelina and Brad’s mom, they seemed to get along.  “Jane shared some of Brad’s favorite recipes – pecan pie, green-bean-and mushroom-soup casserole and mac and cheese – with Angelina, who’s learning to cook,” says the insider.  That night, the Jolie-Pitts had dinner at Arris’ Pizza.  “Brad said that is was the first time all the kids have eaten out as a family,” co-owner Joe Kremer tells Life & Style.  “They enjoyed themselves.”
